It's interesting to me that the 6 E's come from the 5 E's of science education. It makes sense to use the scientific process for learning because problem solving is what we as humans need to learn. Here is a question. What are possible answers? Ultimately, we learn what we want to learn, and we are like this from birth. But we are the humanities; therefore, the 6th E. How do you learn? This is the E that makes the learning personal and more likely to stick.
That is a cool take Ann! I like how we have asked the learners' to "express" their learning in the 6th E and think about how they learn and how they best interact or understand what they are learning. It helps them to become independent learners - and hopefully - lifelong learners.
Love the discussion about learning what works for each teacher and not getting stuck in the "oh so and so did it this way so I have to do the same!". It's always important to put your own spin on lessons, materials, etc in order to feel more comfortable using them, and to show off your own style!

Yes! Every teacher can use their creativity to connect with their learners!
