Greetings WOL Friends!
We are working on getting some clips of the awesome students who dash through our WOL ether. In the meantime, follow us on social media! Instagram - Facebook
I asked Lauren and Olivia to share some of the stories they are hearing from our students and teachers. Listen in - the kids are amazing!
We also had the opportunity to share how we combine the WOL/IU8 6E model with Story and the Community of Inquiry with some PA and NJ districts. Some of the stories the participants created will certainly empower real-life engagement. We are so grateful to Heidi Hayes Jacobs and Allison Zmuda for inspiring us to create stories.
What are your dream courses?
Thanks for joining the discussion,
Pat

Elementary Spanish students learn not only Spanish but also how to navigate and LMS.
Students can find that they are good at something - when they take a course with no preconceived notion about their ability.
A student advocated for themselves to take Arabic and had amazing support from their school and community.
Summer school students - with the support of our ‘kid chasers”, parents, and districts - advocated for themselves and improved our whole WOL program along the way.
A student in our American Sign Language (ASL) 1 class was so motivated that they had taught themselves enough by immersion and finding resources - that they moved to an American Sign Language (ASL) 2 course.
