Hi WOL Friends,
In this episode, we are filled with gratitude for those of you who have been our faithful and consistent followers. We get excited when folks remind us of the podcast's success and engagement, it is so much fun to get positive feedback, from you, our listeners. The comments we receive, both online and in-person, help us to grow and add new topics.
If you have followed us for a long time, or have just started to explore our content, you can see that we love to talk about what is impacting education - and how we can help others to problem solve when they can’t find a teacher. We love to collaborate and find solutions so students get what they need. We have two initiatives that we are really proud of; one involves offering STEM courses at Greater Johnstown Middle School utilizing technology to connect teachers via Zoom with students in the classroom. The students actively engage with robots, learn coding using Scratch and are exposed to essential skills for future employment. The second fun project is working with a district to provide an elementary library program.
We love to find solutions and create opportunities for students to engage in learning.
And this brings me to the part everyone is waiting for - our giveaway!
The following individuals—Paige R, Kim F, Pat C, Stephanie S, and Deb F checked all the contest boxes for entry to the giveaway. And with the spin of the Random Wheel, Deb F is the lucky winner from Bedford School District.
We are grateful to everyone who listens in, reads, and interact with us - as we share our stories and ideas. We look forward to continuing to engage with you all in the weeks ahead.
As always, if you can’t find a teacher or want to collaborate - get in touch. And please continue to like, follow, comment, and engage with the podcast as we continue to talk about what we do every day to make virtual learning - authentic, relevant, and engaging.
Best,
Pat
