We have new offerings for you!

We are ready to start scheduling for the Fall. We know that is an uncertain time and with that in mind, we hope to provide you with similar or more flexible options. If you have questions about how we can help let's schedule a call or Zoom meeting to think about your specific needs.
 
Below you will find our most updated flyer with our offerings for the 2020-2021 school year. We have new options in Portuguese, Elementary Spanish, and Exploratory Classes for Elementary and Middle School. I apologize we have not gotten this to you sooner, but if you want to consider any of them with a small group first, we are glad to engage in a pilot with your school or district.  

• We have Elementary Spanish (level 1) that can begin at any grade. We will fully develop 6 elementary levels for the future.  

• We also offer an Exploratory Languages course that can be used an elective or "special" for elementary or middle school learners. Our middle school students, especially love this course. They get little bits of a variety of languages so they can see what they are most interested taking in the future. Districts like this option because we can really personalize the offerings. We can be offer this course in a marking period, a semester, or a full year. You can also pick from any of the languages we offer in the exploratory program (usually 4-6 languages)  

 
The Middle and Elementary options have...

• Less asynchronous work. They are heavier on the synchronous piece to make learning the language fun and exciting with songs, games, stories, routines, etc.  

• The goal is for learners to be able to speak and listen in the language.  

• The middle school age group will have asynchronous assignments in Canvas, but they are also filled "fun" and engaging ways to try the language outside of class time.  

• The elementary students will have extra resources in their asynchronous Canvas course, no homework- just links to games, activities, and extension activities to practice with their families, IF they want. 

Also, Here is the Fall Schedule for Seton Hill Dual Enrollment:

The cost is higher for these learners at $750/semester, but they can earn the credit from Seton Hill, They can take a class each semester. 
 
In addition, we are hosting a few Fun Summer offerings for both Elementary and HS students. The IU8 Extended Campus will also host Summer School.
